The only option for growth by companies in the sector is to acquire other companies, which leads to concentration and price fixing, independent to the free market. The rules of supply and demand no longer apply. The only means of escaping this process is to find a new, apparently unlimited energy source, which allows available raw materials to be redefined. Either on this planet or on others.
